Much ADo About Nothing

by William Shakespeare

Directed by Bruce Longworth

St. Louis Shakespeare Festival

Jun 1 — Jun 26, 2022

Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s most popular and enduring comedies. The central characters, Beatrice and Benedick, are thorny, intelligent, witty and hopelessly bad at love. A battle royale ensues in a hilarious attempt to resist their overpowering mutual attraction that makes Much Ado such a timeless story of romance, suspicion and restoration. Tim played the role of Antonio, the uncle of Hero and Beatrice.

I'M GONNA PRAY FOR YOU SO HARD

“Two brilliant actors go at each other trapped in a room for 90 minutes...Devastating, terrifying, tragic and emotionally gripping.”
    –Ben Kaye

“Kidwell and Fink [are] near frenzied in their commitment to animating these deeply unlikeable people. Their performances are impressive.” –Kris Vire

“... puts the nuclear in family. Fink and Kidwell expertly embody the narcissistic, competitive, destructive dynamic.” –Chill Live Shows
